Engineer Ahmed is a Group Executive Director at Dangote Group, Africa’s largest conglomerate with operations in over 14 Countries and still expanding. He is also the current President of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) and the interim Chairman of the Pan-African Manufacturers Association (PAMA). 

 

Engr. Ahmed is a highly respected professional with experience in many industries. He was recently appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Nigeria Police Trust Fund, as member of TETFUND Standing Committee on Research and Development (R&D), Board of Trustees of The African Union Continental Covid-19 Response Fundand member of the Steering Committee for the Preparation of Medium-term National Development Plan 2021-2015 and Nigeria Agenda 2050.

Otunba Bimbo Ashiru 

Former Commissioner for Commerce & Industry, Ogun State

Otunba Ashiru is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers [FCIB]; InstituteofStrategicManagement of Nigeria; National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria [FNIMN] and Chartered Institute of Commerce of Nigeria. He was the Honorable Commissioner for Commerce and Industry in Ogun State between 2011- 2018. During his tenure the World Bank Group, in its Doing Business in Nigeria 2014 Report, ranked Ogun State as one of the best five States in term of ease of doing business against the 36th position in its 2010 report. He also facilitated the creation of a One-Stop Shop Investment Center (OSSIC) which sits within the Ministry of Commerce & Industry to assist potential investors with procedures for investment and documentation processing.He is currently a member of the Board of directors of Odua Investment Company.

Gillian Joseph 

International Presenter at Sky News UK

Gillian Joseph has more than 30 years of broadcast experience, she presents Sky News at Breakfast and can be regularly seen across the rest of the output as well as reporting on the road.
She started her broadcasting career with the BBC in Manchester before becoming a radio reporter and producer with Radio Merseyside. During her time in Liverpool, she was one of the first to break the news of the James Bulger murder case in 1993. Gillian returned home to London in 1998, working as a reporter and newsreader on BBC Radio 1. Since then she has reported for the BBC’s Black Britain programme, both the One and ‪Six O’Clock‬ News, Newsnight and the Holiday programme . She also presented a ‪Sunday morning‬ reflective news show on BBC London 94.9FM and regularly presented for 5 Live.
Prior to joining Sky News, Gillian presented the news on BBC Breakfast and on BBC London. She also worked as a presenter for BBC News 24. Gillian played a major role in the coverage of the aftermath of the 2004 Asian Tsunami, and has reported from locations across the globe including Northern Ireland, South America and Africa. Accustomed to seminal stories, she presented live on air for several hours the day Iraq went to the polls in the country’s first­­­­ democratic elections.
Gillian has covered the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the Royal wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton, the funeral of Baroness Margaret Thatcher and the death of Nelson Mandela. In 2016 she played a major role in the historic American Presidential elections reporting for Sky News from both Washington and New York. In 2017 for three days she was the sole presenter on a Sky News specially commissioned pop up channel. Sky Ocean Rescue broadcasted investigative reports and documentaries as well as live coverage of the EU Our Ocean Conference from Malta.
She has covered every UK General election since 2001 and extensively reported on the EU referendum around the country.
And in Nov 2020 she returned to the USA to cover the most controversial election in American history.

Ajoke Silva MFR

Position/Role

Ajoke Silva is an award winning Veteran actress, director & business woman 

A graduate of the University of Lagos and the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London, she began her career in film in the early 1990s. In 1998 she had a major role, starring opposite Colin Firth and Nia Long in the British-Canadian film The Secret Laughter of Women. In 2006, she won "Best Actress in a Leading Role" at the 2nd Africa Movie Academy Awards for her performance in Women's Cot, and "Best Actress in a Supporting Role" at the 4th Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2008 for her performance as a grandmother in White Waters.

Silva is married to actor Olu Jacobs. The couple founded and operate the Lufodo Group, a media corporation that consists of film production, distribution assets and the Lufodo Academy of Performing Arts. Silva is Director of Studies at the latter. She is also the pioneer managing director of Malete Film Village, in association with the Kwara State University.

On 29 September 2014, Silva received recognition as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic, one of Nigeria's National Honours, at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.
